Wow has it been a long time since I've been here to blog! I always intend on blogging regularly, however, life with kiddos & now work seems to get in the way. In any case, it is a rare occasion that both my children are down before 9. So, here I am.
Where to begin? So many things have changed in my life over the past few months! Miya is just over 17 months & as sharp as a tack! Xander won't be too far behind her. he's just over 4 months and he's been rolling & scooting for at least 2 months now. He is at that stage where he gives such great big smiles & huge belly laughs that just melt your heart & warm your soul. I can't even begin to imagine my life without these two in it. Miya is such an incredibly loving & protective big sister as well. The two of them together is just pure love & joy. The best medicine ever!
The past year in recap: We've gone from being homeless to living in the back of the office I used to work out of to asking Mike to leave, to renting a room out of our friends' home & finally to our own home. God has truly shown me more blessings than I could ever deserve. I have come to a point where I am overwhelmed with the many miracles & blessings He shows us daily. My realization is that, although I may be unworthy, the only thing I have to offer is to show that I am appreciative by paying it forward in any & every way I possibly can. People have shown us such generosity & charity that I feel compelled to do the same, in return & as an act of gratitude for what we have been blessed with. So, I try to find little ways to pay it forward as I see things come across my path.
Back on point... I asked Mike to leave, found out I was pregnant, moved, continued to work, continued to care for Miya, nursed through my entire pregnancy & through double mastitis, planned a home birth that had to be replanned due to bilobate placenta, which could have caused serious complications for both Xander & myself, went into labor & my little man had another change of plans for us. he wanted to be born at home & I went from 0 to 60 in no time flat. Miya was almost the only one with me. Thank God for the amazing blessing & one of my very best friends, Erin, for being there for us & for Carrie & all her amazing skills!
I found an amazing nanny for my babies & they absolutely adore him! Chance, we are truly blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts! Don't know what we would have done without you! & with Chance here, it has allowed me to throw myself fully into rebuilding my business as I had to start over. I am now at a different office. I am working out of Healing foundations which has given me the opportunity to add yet another skill set to my ever growing portfolio. I am not only doing massage there, I am also learning Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy. I have found a renewed passion for my massage & it has also made me be a better therapist in ways I can't fully explain. I have seen so many amazing things with the patients I have been able to meet. It is a blessing to be on this journey to health with them. My business has grown a hundred fold! I am convinced that the only things Pulse won't help with is anyone who has a pacemaker or any other type of electronic device.
<3 I hope all is well. I miss you
