You can use a smile to hide a tear,
But it will never take away the fear.
There's something about the future history
And how it's such a mystery.
So muuch at stake, so much to lose...
How do we know what path to choose?
Sometimes we must choose the path that hurts;
Scale the walls and swim the moats.
Everyone makes their own choices, I'm sure.
That's a fact of life we can't ignore.
Give them time , their demons to face;
Without that, you lose your place.
I'm not dead, just frozen inside;
I do this for me to survive.
It's my way of saying I'll not worry; just wait.
I leave it all to the hands of fate.
